Oisín McGann is an Irish writer and illustrator who creates stories for children and teenagers across a wide range of genres. His work includes science fiction and fantasy, and he often does both the writing and illustrating.

Fearghas Mac Lochlainn is a former primary school teacher based in Spiddal, Co. Galway. He is renowned as a composer of 'lúibíní', 'agallaimh bheirte' and songs. He has worked as an illustrator with Fighting Words Connemara and has translated a significant number of children's books into Irish, including five titles from the Dónall Dána series and ten from the O’Brien Flyers series. He edited the collection Comhrá Cosáin and has also published his own original works.
